Book Title: The Neighborhood Mother Goose by Nina Crews

APA Citation: Crews, N. (2004). The Neighborhood Mother Goose. New York, NY: Greenwillow Books.

Short Annotation: This book had a variety of different mother goose rhymes. There were some famous ones like “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” “Patty Cake,” “Humpty Dumpty,” “Rock-a-bye Baby,” and so many more. There are some that I am not familiar with too.

Genre: Fairy Tale Nursery Rhymes

Grade Level: Anyone

Intended Audience: I think this book is intended for all audiences who enjoy common mother goose rhymes. There really is no certain age group because many learn these rhymes at a young age and will stick with them for years.

Rating: 10/10, I really liked the photographs in this book and how it was tied into the nursery rhymes.

Text-Dependent Question: “Which mother goose rhyme was your favorite and why?”
