2nd or 3rd grade

This would be a good book for teaching young students about the events that took place on September 11. It does a great job of giving a lot of information without overwhelming a young student. I think you could even read this to an older class to talk about 9/11 and leave a big impact on them.

This is a really great book about 9/11. It really leaves the reader feeling a lot of emotion when they think about their own memories of September 11th. When we heard about it in “Booked for the Evening” I knew I had to get in from the library and read it on my own.

How does Julie remember the sky on September 11th before the plane crash?
