Title: Neem the Half-Boy

Citation: Shah, I., Mori, M., & Revels, R. (1998). Neem the Half-Boy. Cambridge, MA: Hoopoe Books.

Annotation: The Queen of Hich-Hich wanted a little boy, but she didn’t know how to get one. So she went to Arif the Wise Man. He then gave her instructions on how to get a baby boy. The Queen of Hich-Hich did not follow the instructions the way that Arif the Wise Man said them, so when it was time for her to get the baby boy she gave birth to Neem the Half-Boy. Neem grew up very smart and wise. He learned that the way he could become whole is if he defeated a dragon. Neem then used his cleverness and bravery to become whole again.
