Young, Ed. (1992). Seven blind mice. New York: Philomel Books

Annotation: This book was about seven blind mice who try to discover what huge object is in front of them. The seventh mouse is the most successful when it explores the whole object rather than just a part of the object.

Genre: Fable

Grade: 1

Readers who will like this book: This book is good for readers who like a mystery. This book is also good for readers who like animals such as  mice.

Response/ Rating: I would rate this book a 5( 1-5). I really like that as a reader, you don’t know what the object is until the very end. I also like how it teaches that there are many parts to an object to explore.

Question: Why was the seventh mouse the most successful at determining what the object was?
