Brief Annotation: Finding Winnie is about a World War I soldier and a baby bear, the baby bear actually is the inspiration for the character Winnie The Pooh. In the story the soldier decides to rescue the baby bear which then leads to a beautiful friendship and inspiring journey between the solider and the baby bear he rescued.

Readers who will like this: Any reader interested in history will like this book, as well as Winnie the Pooh fans since the bear in the story is the real inspiration for the character of the popular cartoon. I also think readers who like adventure, and friendship stories will love this book.
Rating/Response 1-5: 5, I absolutely loved reading this book. I enjoyed the journey the soldier and the baby bear went on together, and the friendship that developed. I also thought it was interesting that Winnie the baby bear is actually Winnie-The-Pooh.
