Brief Annotation: This book is about a boy named Elliot who visits the aquarium with his father. That is where Elliot discovers his love for penguins. Elliot then asks his father if he can get a penguin for a pet and his father to his surprise says yes. However his father meant a stuffed penguin and not a real one to Elliot’s dismay.

Readers who will like this: Any reader who enjoys books about animals, especially penguins will like this book. It has a surprise at the end, and entertains readers with a silly friendship.

Rating/ Response 1-5: 5, I thought this book was very fun to read. I enjoyed the ending, the illustrations were fun to look at. And I love the friendship aspect of the story.
