Readers who will like this: Readers who relate to the experience Alex goes through will like this book becuase they will see themselves and their own situation in this book.

Rating/Response 1-5: 4, I think this book does a very good job at explaining divorce and that is not as scary as children think it is. I would use this book to teach students about divorce and what it looks like. Especially for students whose family is going to be going through a divorce.

Text-Dependent Question: Using context clues, how do you think Alex feels about his parents being divorced and living in separate homes?
