  • Snow White verison 3

Brief Annotation: The 3rd verison is called “The unnatural Mother”and the girl with a star on her forehead: A Mozambican fairytale. The mother in this story used to be the most beautiful in the village but when she had a daughter she was admired for her beauty and the mother soon became jealous. The mothers’ jealousy only grew more and asked her servant to kill her child. Again the servent couldn’t kill the girl and left her in the forest. The mother tried to kill her daughter again with poisoned shoes, but she was saved and married the chiefs son from a different village.
