Annotation: The main character in this book is named David. David is a very crazy and sometimes naughty little boy. When David does something crazy or naughty his mom always yells at him No David! Some of the things that David does in the book that are naughty are running down the street naked, walking in the house covered in mud, or over flowing the bathtub. Reading Strategy- Retelling
The teacher sits with a students one on one and reads a book to the child. The teacher then asks the students to retell the story aloud. While the student is doing this the teachers is scoring the child on their retelling skills. I chose this book to do with this strategy because I think that no David will be a easy story to remember and because it is funny and interesting hopefully the child will be able to remember the story better.
