White Snow, Bright Snow
Tresselt, A., & Duvoisin, R. (1988). White snow, bright snow. New York: Lothrop, Lee & Shepard Books.
Fiction- Award winner ( Caldecott)
This story follows a postman, farmer, policeman, and children as they anticipate the first snowfall and follows them from winter until spring.
I think this would be a great book to read when the first snowfall happens. Kid’s get so excited for the snow so it would be a good way to get them engaged.
I read this as we were getting our huge blizzard so I especially liked this book. I just imaged all the excited children watching the snowfall. I would give it a 5/5.
What are some ways you prepare for the snow?
